of all the pictures taken over the '09 holidays,

the next three really are the best...

we were at grammy leeanne's house for Christmas morning,

turned our backs literally for a second

and he toilet papered the living room :)

among the many new developments, my favorite's tied b/t

the fact that he gives kisses(which i finally caught on camera :X!!!)

and that he will sing the ABCs w/all different kinds of rhythm...

and sometimes it blends into

twinkle twinkle little star--

they are, after all, the same tune ;)

he also says unprompted 'please' and 'thank you' s...

he's the delight to many a cashier's day...

...&i sure think he sure is the cutest :))

AAAAND, of course, my current obsession--jaxon had his hair cut.

electrical outlets are scary. electric anything that serves a function other than to supply learning time or baby-fied entertainment = no, no! peace to the tantrums and enter the i-know-how,-ive seen-you-do-its. he likes to plug in and un plug things (duh, he is a kid, haaha) but ps, he is very extra agile and sneaky and silent. this picture i took is among the milder of situations ive found him in, but you can see his sneaky face none the less ;)

1.) jaxon literally brings his dad his shoes in the morning,

i get a kick out of it.

2.) sometimes he likes to pick out his own outfit,

i wanted to start off w/this picture, as it is so typical of him...

he has this method of protest--if you try to direct him in another direction other than where he was 'planning' to go, he drops to his knees and a.) waits, whimpering, to be picked up or b.) drags himself along, upright, on said knees.

this drives me craaaaaaaazy!!!

other than that, he drives me to hilarity :)

he likes to read, he flips pages w/out tearing them,
and sometimes picks really random spots to do so!

he LOVES the football beanbag that grammy gave him,

for his 2nd birthday. he lines it up and

does front flips from the arm of that chair onto the bag...

when this show is on, i have a un-interuppted 20 minutes.

they've been playing this game that they call 'flying cow and elephant', where they

(you may have guessed it!) take a cow and elephant, and fly them around the room.

these are, like, their designated charachters, ive found, as

jaxon does get very upset when i try to be the cow...

he only lets me be the rhino :/

i padded and semi-covered w/a blanket, therefore rigging, jaxon's infant car seat into a lounger. he loved it, but is getting big, now...he is totally out of the baby stage, definately into toddler, and he may even already be a kid. anyways, where im going with this...

and he's like, 'look ma, no hands!'...

Auntie Jen and Uncle Ryan had extra tickets to the Angel's game, this Sunday,

so Jaxon was able to go to his very first professional sporting event!! Awesome!!

At first he was pretty mellow, just took it all in--

we were very, very high up, where you can see the whole stadium well,

and the homer fireworks, of course :)

He was given a "My First Game" sticker,

but his daddy thought he needed a foam finger, as well!

...he took to foam finger wearing like he'd

been wearing the thing his whole life, haaha.

We all had a lot of fun :)

So we hope they keep it up--Let's Go Angels!!

that's how this little one moves! he is constantly on 'go', but he is becoming more careful in his old age, so exploring is way more fun.

the new cool thing at our house is the b-ball hoop. when we drive out of the tract, we slow down so he can see the neighbors' (who have) basketball nets out front, and he LOVES it, so we got him his own. he LOVES that, he plays with it all day, and prompts others to join in. baller :)

boomer wanted his picture taken :)

they really like each other, the boy and his dog. boomer is most sympathetic when jaxon has a meltdown, which is becoming less often as the days go by...he will let him climb on him until he can't take it anymore, and swooshes his tail off to another room.

i was considering purchasing a mini couch for him. i never did, because he can climb now, so he sometimes uses the big couches, plus he doesn't sit still any longer than...anything, haaha, sooo, just didn't ever wind uphappening. the other day i threw a large blanket over his infant carseat, which is still out so as to block a danger zone, and voila!! perfect chill spot...for those rare moments when he decides to stop moving <33

we woke easter morning to see what joey's sister and g-ma left for jaxon!!

he loved his spiderman head easter basket!!

he also dug the shirt they stuffed inside...

really, though, what kind of kid wants the shirt, before all the goodies??

then we went to my mom's house, where he hunted for spiderman eggs,

and got a basket with books, a spidey football and spiderfaced booboo pack...

it was a very spidermanny easter, haaha <3>

i don't know why i never thought to before, but i youtubed for some kind of sports collaborations and found all these 'art of shooting/kicking/this/that/the-other-thing' and he LOVES them...

he's mainly a fan of watching basketball, lately. he calls it 'b-ball', haaha. i also found these goldfish crackers that have (i assume) limited time basketball shapes mixed in with the fish. he picks them out, and eats them first. he is funny :)

he calls boomer 'bubbah', like we do, too, it's funny...

he likes to play outdoors A LOT, so this good weather has been awesome...

there he is with the mama dog, and one of grandma's flowers he picked, shhhh ;]

he's not a real animal, but our friends got him this blow up donkey guy, made in italy...

we can tell why they are not found here in the states,

as it is QUITE easy to roll over frontwards, onto your facial, due to a weight imbalance...

needless to say, 400lb weight limit or not, the "Rody" (said like 'Rodeo') it's called,

is used under adult supervision, only!

...still the best dollar ever spent!! ^

he's beat the weight limit for the PnP, so watching tv is a little harder, for a shorty...

...i was able to capture trial of his solution to that problem!

i also captured his newest acheivement,

and what i thought was my newest excercise plan,

until we found a key to the door, haaha...

as far as his youtube obsession goes,

currently he's moved on from 'willy was a whale'esque songs

to jams about the alphabet, and numbers.

he tries to sing along, he can sound out most letters,

and he sing songs 'three' if you count '1, 2, etc'...

he'll be talking so soon, haaha...

jaxon's first BBQ @ GWC, this past friday. aunt lisa gave him a rib to chaw on! so he thouroughly enjoyed, and stained his and papa's shirts with, that! he was also into his grammy's necklace. he sat with her and pawed at it until she finally gave in and let him yank on it! what a good time!!

tonight we had a dinner date! ryan and jen came over, and this was the first time i'd cooked a full meal, with this kid being mobile, haha, and we did awesome! all i can say is thank God for the potholder drawer!!

he's just a handsome gentleman, what more can i say?

(i messed up editing his eye on this one, but im too tired to fix it, haha, maybe later :)

He can now pull himself up into this standing position...he used to use his face on the mesh, to sort of hold himself in one position, while he'd work his hands up the pen, for support, but now he just pulls. Is he gonna start walking this week...?

We also managed a visit to grandma Jo's, this week, where she handed down this tool bench that I remember playing with as a little one! Jaxon loves it, of course...he does try to choke himself w/the hammer handle, so we're saving that piece for a little later ;)

he has been pretty mobile lately. he crawls around, after things he likes; he can pull and hold himself standing up, in his playpen, or on somebody; he has three of his bottom teeth cut all the way through...he is getting big :)

clapping! clapping is the exciting new thing, these days. we were at an elementary school graduation, and all by himself he clapped w/the audience, a couple times. i was shocked, haha!

he has officially started eating all kinds of table foods...

he had fun w/his first mashed potatoes :)

he's just a happy, funny little guy...it's funny to see his personality developing, and to watch him learn and get taller and taller, and more and more vocal, haha, and i couldn't be having more fun!!

He truly loves to watch that show--It started out as a joke b/t Joey and I. The theme song is sung by a little girl with a brittish accent, which is allllways fun to impersonate. it's on Noggin @ 11p, and it's kind of become a routine, for him. It's nice that most of his toys and bedding are rainforest themed, as he seems to be really into zoo animals. Maybe we're looking at a future safari guide...

OR football kicker--he was a DREAM at Grandpa Jerry & Sue's Superbowl Party. He seems to enjoy watching football, as well, which is convenient, for us!! I'm sure it has something more to do with the little figures running back and forth across the big green screen, but I'll take it all the same!! BTW, I say kicker, because I feel that they are less likely to be sacked super hard, than anybody else, in the game...he just better hope he always makes it through the poles ;)

As of last week, he has offficially found his feet!

He tries very hard to reach for them,

and once he grabs hold he looks around for one of us,

so we can tell him how well he's doing :)

I mean, I truly understand--the touching of the feet can be a hard task, I know a lot of grown men cannot do so, hahaha...My baby is no longer the immobile little being of his younger days, as now he's pulling off his socks every time I turn around <3

He's going on 5 mos, it is so hard to believe!!

I've been thinking about starting him a blog,

but have been lagging verrry hard...

(I figured a blogspot would be excess, since I've got a myspace; while I do love myspace for what it is, and for the free picture hosting of it all, I'd like something that EVERYBODY can take a look at, w/out running the risk of the snoopy creepers in my life having a lurk see poop... :)
